March 18 – Please join us in calling on Governor Hochul and New York State lawmakers to reject a proposed plan to roll back New York’s Raise the Age law, and permit more 16- and 17-year-olds to be prosecuted as adults. These rollbacks will harm our young people and communities and will not address the causes of gun violence. We cannot return to unsound and racially biased policies that failed to keep young people or communities safe when we used them in the past.

We ask that you standing with us in support of our young people and communities. We need investment in what we know works to help recover from the collective trauma of the past two years. We must not go backwards.
